Evidence over hype

Editorial policy

Our editorial system is designed to show what was visited, what was researched, what is sponsored and when important information was checked.

Sources and sensitive claims

Halal certification, pork-free status, opening hours, accessibility, prayer-room and transport claims require a named source and checked date. Ambiguity is reported as ambiguity.

AI and translation

  • AI may assist drafts, structure and consistency checks; it is not evidence.
  • No unreviewed bulk translations are published.
  • Translation preserves meaning, local usage and search intent.
  • We do not generate thin pages for every possible keyword combination.

Photography and representation

Image sources and rights are recorded. Generic context photography is labelled and must never imply that a particular venue was visited or depicted.

Featured and publisher-directed placement

If the publisher requests that a business appear first, the page must disclose that placement beside the recommendation. It must not be described as the result of a blind or independent comparative score. The business still receives the same identity, claim, source and review checks as every other entry, and any known sponsorship, ownership or affiliate relationship must be named.
