The Top Ten Malaysia Editorial Desk is the organisational credit used by the journalist responsible for the present source review, evidence labels, publication decisions and correction record. It is not a fictional person or a substitute for a named contributor profile.
What the desk is responsible for
- Checking that each published claim has an appropriate source.
- Separating public feedback, provider statements and independent testing.
- Keeping publication, update and source-check dates distinct.
- Publishing commercial and placement disclosures beside the relevant recommendation.
- Correcting or removing claims that no longer meet the evidence standard.
Contributor profile standard
- Real name and biography.
- Relevant category and location expertise.
- Primary area and languages.
- Material relationships and complimentary experiences.
- Articles written, reviewed or fact-checked.
Visit and research labels
A contributor may label a venue personally visited only when that visit occurred. Editorially researched and community-nominated records use different labels so readers can interpret the evidence correctly.
No empty or fictional profiles
Individual profile pages and Person structured data will be published only after a real contributor provides accurate biography, expertise and disclosure information. Until then, the organisational byline remains the honest credit.
